Green Impact Guelph (GIG) is a collaboration that enables neighbourhoods to achieve massive savings in water and energy. Working with individuals, households and multi-residential buildings, GIG is helping homes become more sustainable by removing barriers to conservation – accompanying residents every step of the way. It’s time to ‘Get with the GIG’!

Since 2007 GIG has distributed over 16,000 conservation kits, fostered the development of action plans in all 6 wards of the city, completed energy and water saving retrofits in over 1,000 apartment units and engaged over 100 people in turning off their lights for Earth Hour.

GIG is able to draw on the strengths of each resident and various partners to support small and large efforts. Every action will lead to a healthier community!
